Warranty
At RC Lawn Mower, we stand behind the quality of the remote-controlled lawn mowers we supply.
Every RC lawn mower purchased from us is covered by a 1-year warranty from the date of purchase, subject to the terms below.
For large one-time bulk purchases, an extended warranty period may sometimes be available by prior agreement. However, for standard retail orders and machines shipped individually to customers, the standard warranty period is 1 year.
Â
What Does the Warranty Cover?
The warranty covers faults or failures affecting major original components where the problem is not caused by normal wear and tear, misuse, accidental damage, improper maintenance or unauthorised modification.
Covered components may include:
- Engine
- Hydraulic pump
- Hydraulic motor
- Main control circuit board
- Transmission
- Drive motor
- Chassis frame
- Steering assembly
- Solenoid valves
- Metal structural components
- Other major original mechanical or electrical parts
Coverage depends on the nature and cause of the fault.
Â
What Is Not Covered?
Parts that naturally wear down during normal operation are considered consumable or wear-and-tear parts and are not covered by the free warranty.
These may include:
- Mowing blades
- Rubber tracks
- Drive belts
- Tires
- Filter elements
- Friction plates
- Bearings
- Plastic wear sleeves
- Rubber seals
- Sealing strips
- Other similar consumable components
These parts are designed to wear gradually as the mower is used and may need to be replaced periodically.
Â
Why Are Wear Parts Not Covered?
The lifespan of consumable parts can vary significantly depending on how and where the mower is used.
For example, mowing in areas containing stones, hard vegetation, coarse weeds or other abrasive material can cause blades to wear much faster than when mowing regular grass on level terrain.
A mower used for 8 hours each day will also naturally experience greater wear than a mower used for only 2 hours per day.
Because these conditions are outside our control, normal wear of consumable parts is not considered a manufacturing defect.
Â
What Happens If a Covered Part Fails?
If a component covered by the warranty develops a confirmed fault, RC Lawn Mower will arrange for the appropriate replacement part to be supplied to you.
Our support team will also provide guidance to help you identify the problem and replace the affected component.
Depending on the issue, we may provide:
- Troubleshooting instructions
- Photographs or diagrams
- Video guidance
- Replacement instructions
- Technical assistance from our manufacturing partner
- Replacement parts where the issue is covered under warranty
Our goal is to make the repair process as straightforward as possible and help you return the mower to normal operation.
Â
Do I Need to Return the Entire Mower?
In many cases, no.
Because RC lawn mowers are substantial machines that are transported as crated freight, it is often more practical to diagnose the issue remotely and replace the affected component rather than transport the complete mower.
Where appropriate, we will work with you to identify the faulty part, send the required replacement and guide you through the replacement process.
The appropriate solution will depend on the individual issue.
Â
How Do I Make a Warranty Claim?
Please contact us at:
When submitting a warranty claim, please provide:
- Your order number
- Your mower model
- A detailed description of the issue
- Photographs of the affected component
- A clear video showing the problem, where possible
- Any error messages or unusual behaviour you have noticed
Photographs and videos are extremely helpful because they allow our support team and manufacturing partner to diagnose the problem more accurately.
Â
Do Not Disassemble the Mower Without Guidance
If you believe your mower has developed a warranty-related fault, please contact us before carrying out major repairs or modifications.
Unauthorised alterations or incorrect repairs may make it more difficult to diagnose the issue and may affect warranty coverage.
Where a component needs to be removed or replaced, our team will guide you through the appropriate procedure wherever possible.
Â
Routine Maintenance Is the Customer's Responsibility
The warranty does not replace normal maintenance.
Customers are responsible for maintaining the mower according to the operating instructions, including items such as:
- Engine oil
- Filters
- Blades
- Belts
- Tracks
- Tires
- Lubrication
- Fasteners
- Cleaning
- General inspection
Proper maintenance helps maximise the life of the mower and its components.
Â
Warranty Does Not Cover
The warranty does not cover damage resulting from:
- Normal wear and tear
- Accidents or collisions
- Improper operation
- Operating the mower outside its intended use
- Lack of maintenance
- Use of incorrect fuel, oil or fluids
- Water damage caused by improper use or storage
- Fire
- Corrosion caused by improper storage
- Unauthorised modification
- Incorrect repairs
- Damage caused by external objects such as rocks, wire or debris
- Consumable parts reaching the end of their normal service life
