What is RC Lawn Mower?
RC Lawn Mower is a specialist retailer and supplier dedicated to high-quality remote-controlled lawn mowers.
Our factory-direct fulfilment model allows many orders to be shipped directly from the manufacturing facility to the customer.
Our aim is to make purchasing a remote-controlled lawn mower simple, transparent and dependable, with customer support before and after your purchase.
Are you the manufacturer?
RC Lawn Mower is the retailer and supplier of the products sold through our website.
We work directly with factory that manufactures the models we sell. This allows us to provide factory direct products and arrange shipment from the manufacturing facility directly to our customers in many countries.
Are the lawn mowers genuine products?
Yes.
We supply authentic, high-quality remote-controlled lawn mowers sourced directly from our manufacturing partner.
We do not intentionally sell replica, imitation or copied machines manufactured as lower-quality substitutes for the original models we offer.
Why purchase from RC Lawn Mower?
Our business specialises in remote-controlled lawn mowers.
When purchasing from us, customers benefit from:
- Factory-direct sourcing
- Authentic products
- Competitive pricing
- International delivery options
- Pre-shipment communication
- Product support
- 1-year warranty
- After-sales assistance
We also communicate with customers before shipment so that any important delivery, customs or receiving information can be explained before the mower leaves the factory.
What is a remote-controlled lawn mower?
A remote-controlled lawn mower is a mower that allows the operator to control the movement and operation of the machine from a distance using a remote controller.
This can make mowing more convenient and allows the operator to remain away from the machine while controlling its direction and movement.
Different models are available for different applications, cutting widths, terrain and mowing requirements.
Always check the individual product page for the specifications of the model you are considering.
Are these ride-on lawn mowers?
No.
Our RC lawn mowers are remote-operated machines. The operator does not sit on the mower.
They are considerably more compact than traditional ride-on lawn mowers, although complete machines are still substantial pieces of equipment and are normally transported inside a protective wooden shipping crate.
Are the lawn mowers petrol-powered or electric?
Many of the models we supply use a combustion engine to power the mower itself.
The remote-control system and certain electronic components use battery power.
This provides the mower with the continuous working capability of a fuel-powered engine while allowing the machine to be operated remotely.
Specifications vary between models, so please refer to the individual product description before purchasing.
Does the entire mower need to be recharged?
For our gasoline-powered models, the main engine does not rely on a large lithium battery to perform the mowing work.
The remote controller and associated electronic systems use battery power and may require charging.
Always follow the battery and charging instructions provided with your particular model.
What type of grass can these mowers handle?
The exact capability depends on the mower model, engine, cutting system and cutting width.
Different machines are available for applications including general property maintenance, farms, estates, orchards, larger grounds, slopes and more demanding vegetation.
If you are unsure which model is best for your property, contact us with information about:
- Property size
- Terrain
- Approximate slope
- Grass height
- Grass density
- Type of vegetation
- Preferred cutting width
We can help you compare suitable models.
Are these machines suitable for large properties?
Many of our models are specifically intended for customers who need to maintain larger areas.
Gasoline-powered machines can be particularly useful for extended mowing work because the machine can be refuelled rather than requiring long charging periods associated with fully battery-powered machinery.
The suitable working area varies by model.
Are the mowers supplied fully assembled?
The amount of assembly required depends on the model.
The mower will be prepared and securely packed for international transportation. Some models may require minor installation, adjustment or preparation after being removed from the shipping crate.
Always review the supplied instructions before operating the machine.
Is every mower tested before shipment?
Machines are prepared by the manufacturing facility before dispatch.
Where model-specific testing or preparation information is important to your purchase, please contact us and we can confirm the applicable factory procedure for your mower.
Do your RC lawn mowers include a warranty?
Yes.
Our remote-controlled lawn mowers are supplied with a 1-year warranty.
Warranty coverage is subject to the applicable warranty terms and the nature of the issue.
If you experience a problem with your mower, contact us and provide your order information together with a clear description of the issue.
What should I do if I experience a problem with my mower?
Contact our support team at sales@rclawnmower.com.
Please include:
- Your order number
- Mower model
- Description of the issue
- Photographs where applicable
- A clear video showing the problem where possible
Providing photographs and video can help us and the manufacturer identify the problem more quickly.
Do you provide after-sales support?
Yes.
Our service does not end once the mower has been delivered.
We provide after-sales assistance for customers who require help with their machine, warranty enquiries or other product-related questions.
What happens after I place an order?
After an order is received, we review the product and shipping details.
The mower may already be available in stock or may need to be prepared or produced by the factory.
We will also review the delivery destination before shipment.
Will you contact me before shipping my mower?
Yes, we contact customers before shipment.
This is an important part of our order process.
Before dispatch, we may confirm:
- Delivery address
- Postcode
- Telephone number
- Delivery location
- Shipping arrangement
- Customs requirements
- Remote-area status
- Unloading requirements
- Any destination-specific information
If there is anything important you need to know about receiving your mower, we will explain it before shipment.
Please monitor the email address and telephone number supplied with your order.
Why do you need to verify my address before shipment?
International freight costs and delivery services can vary significantly according to postcode and location.
Checking the address helps us identify any unusual circumstances before dispatch, such as:
- Remote-area surcharges
- Island delivery
- Limited freight coverage
- Customs requirements
- Port-only delivery
- Special unloading arrangements
This reduces the risk of unexpected problems after the mower has already been shipped.
How long does it take to prepare my lawn mower?
Production and preparation times depend on the model and current factory inventory.
As a general guide:
550 mm cutting-width models: approximately 5–10 days
Some 550 mm models may already be available from stock, which can shorten the preparation time.
Larger models: approximately 7–15 days
Flail mower models: approximately 10–20 days
These timeframes are estimates and may vary according to inventory and production demand.
Is production time included in the shipping time?
No.
Production or preparation time and international transportation time are separate.
The mower must first be produced or prepared, inspected, packed and made ready for export before the international shipping period begins.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes.
We offer free standard shipping to eligible destinations.
The standard shipping cost is already incorporated into the displayed product price where the destination qualifies for our standard shipping service.
This means eligible customers do not pay a separate standard shipping fee at checkout.
Where do you mainly ship?
Our main shipping destinations are:
- United States
- Canada
- Australia
- European Union countries
- Switzerland
- Norway
Customers located in other countries should contact us before ordering so that we can check whether transportation is available to their destination.
Can you ship to countries that are not listed?
Possibly.
Please contact us before placing an order and provide:
- The mower model
- Country
- City
- Complete postcode
- Type of address
We will check the available shipping options.
Is free shipping available to every postcode?
Not necessarily.
Free standard shipping applies to eligible standard delivery areas.
Remote regions, islands, offshore locations and areas outside normal freight-carrier coverage may require an additional quotation.
If an additional shipping charge applies, we will contact you before the mower is dispatched.
What happens if my address costs more to deliver to?
We will contact you before shipment.
Depending on the circumstances, we may offer one or more of the following options:
- Pay the additional delivery charge
- Provide another serviceable delivery address
- Use another available shipping arrangement
- Collect from an available freight location
- Cancel the order before shipment for a refund if the shipping arrangement cannot be agreed
We do not want customers discovering an unexpected shipping issue after the mower has already been sent.
How are RC lawn mowers shipped internationally?
Complete mowers are generally transported by sea freight because of their size, weight, engine and protective shipping crate.
A typical shipment may involve:
- Factory preparation
- Packing and crating
- Transportation to the export port
- Export customs procedures
- International sea freight
- Arrival at the destination
- Customs clearance
- Transfer to a local freight company
- Final delivery
The exact route depends on the destination.
How long does sea freight take?
Sea-freight time varies according to the country, vessel schedule, port and customs process.
As a general indication, international transportation is approximately 50 days, although the actual timeframe can be shorter or longer.
The estimated shipping period begins from the date the machine is shipped, not from the original order date.
Why can international delivery take longer than expected?
Possible causes include:
- Port congestion
- Delayed vessel departure
- Severe weather
- Vessel schedule changes
- Customs inspections
- Import inspections
- Customs-clearance delays
- Final-mile carrier scheduling
- Remote-area delivery arrangements
Because international freight involves several independent parties, estimated delivery dates cannot always be guaranteed.
Will I receive tracking information?
Yes.
Shipment tracking information is available for orders in transit.
International sea freight does not normally provide the same frequent tracking scans as a parcel courier.
We can obtain updated information from the freight forwarder and provide shipment-status updates.
How frequently can shipment information be provided?
For international shipments in transit, status reports can generally be obtained on a weekly basis.
Will I receive another tracking number for local delivery?
Yes, where applicable.
A separate tracking or freight reference can be issued for the final-mile delivery once the shipment has been transferred to the local delivery company.
Which local delivery company will deliver my mower?
There is no single carrier used for every shipment.
The freight forwarder selects the local carrier according to factors such as:
- Destination
- Shipment dimensions
- Shipment weight
- Local carrier availability
What should I do if my shipment appears delayed?
Contact us at sales@rclawnmower.com.
We can contact our logistics partner or freight forwarder and obtain further information about the shipment.
Do you offer door-to-door delivery?
Yes, door-to-door delivery is available for many destinations.
The exact service depends on the country, postcode and local customs arrangement.
We will confirm the applicable service before shipment.
Can you deliver to a residential address?
Where door-to-door freight service is available, delivery can generally be arranged to:
- Private residences
- Offices
- Warehouses
- Commercial premises
Farm and rural-property delivery may also be possible, subject to postcode and access verification.
Where at my property will the mower be delivered?
Depending on the location and local carrier, delivery may be made to an accessible:
- Driveway
- Property entrance
- Curbside location
- Building entrance
- Warehouse receiving area
The precise delivery point depends on vehicle access and the carrier.
What is DDP shipping?
DDP stands for Delivered Duty Paid.
Where we specifically confirm that an order is being shipped using DDP, the freight arrangement is designed to handle the international delivery and import-clearance process on behalf of the shipment.
Because DDP availability and exact inclusions vary by destination, we will confirm the applicable arrangement before dispatch.
Is DDP available throughout Europe?
DDP delivery is generally available to European Union countries.
Individual addresses may still require verification, particularly remote or difficult-to-service locations.
Does DDP include unloading?
Not automatically.
The standard DDP freight service generally covers transportation to the agreed delivery location, but unloading the crate from the delivery vehicle is normally not included.
For some smaller shipments, unloading assistance may be available, but this must be checked for the specific delivery address.
How does my lawn mower arrive?
The mower will normally arrive securely packed inside a protective wooden shipping crate.
The crate protects the machine during international sea freight, port handling and final transportation.
Will the delivery driver unload the mower?
Standard freight delivery does not necessarily include unloading.
The exact unloading arrangement depends on:
- Mower model
- Crate weight
- Delivery address
- Local carrier
- Available delivery equipment
Please contact us if unloading assistance is required.
Do I need a forklift?
Not necessarily.
Depending on the mower and final delivery service, possible unloading methods may include:
- Tail-lift truck
- Ramp
- Pallet-handling equipment
- Forklift
- Other suitable lifting equipment
Some customers may be able to unpack the mower while the crate is positioned on the delivery vehicle and carefully move the mower down using an appropriate ramp.
Never attempt an unloading method that is unsafe for the mower's weight or your circumstances.
Can unloading assistance be arranged?
Possibly.
Once we have the complete delivery address, we can ask the local freight provider whether an unloading service is available.
An additional charge may apply.
If you do not have suitable unloading equipment, please tell us before shipment.
Will the delivery company call me before arriving?
The final-mile freight carrier does not always contact the customer automatically.
If communication with the delivery carrier is required, please contact RC Lawn Mower and we can request that the freight company communicate with you regarding the delivery.
Are customs duties and taxes included?
This depends on the shipping arrangement.
Where your order is specifically confirmed under a duty-paid service, the applicable customs arrangement will be explained before shipment.
Where duty-paid service is unavailable, the customer may need to complete customs clearance and pay local import charges.
We will contact you before shipment if this applies.
What happens if DDP delivery is not available?
In locations where DDP is unavailable, the manufacturer may only be able to arrange CIF port delivery.
We will not silently change a customer's order from home delivery to port delivery.
If CIF is the only available option, we will contact the customer before shipment and explain what is required.
What is CIF shipping?
CIF stands for Cost, Insurance and Freight.
For the shipping services available to our products, CIF means that transportation is arranged to an agreed destination port rather than all the way to the customer's home.
What is not included with CIF delivery?
CIF delivery may exclude:
- Destination customs-clearance fees
- Customs duties
- VAT or other import taxes
- Destination terminal handling charges
- Documentation charges
- Port handling charges
- Cargo collection
- Inland transportation from the port
- Unloading charges
The customer may need to appoint a customs broker and arrange transportation from the destination port to their address.
We will explain these requirements before arranging a CIF shipment.
Do you ship to Norway?
Yes.
DDP shipping may be available to Norway, although freight costs can be considerably higher than some European Union destinations.
VAT also applies.
The exact delivery quotation and tax arrangement will be checked before shipment.
Do you ship to Switzerland?
Yes.
DDP shipping may be available to Switzerland.
Swiss VAT applies, and the delivery cost can vary significantly according to the model and destination.
We will confirm the shipping arrangement before the order is dispatched.
Do you ship RC lawn mowers to Australia?
Yes.
We ship to Australia, subject to postcode and freight availability.
DDP delivery is generally available to non-remote Australian locations.
Remote and rural locations require additional verification.
Do you ship to Tasmania?
Tasmania and Australian island destinations require an individual shipping check.
Depending on the location, the available service may differ from mainland Australia and in some cases port delivery may be necessary.
Please contact us before ordering if the mower will be delivered to Tasmania or another Australian island.
Are batteries included with Australian shipments?
Australian freight arrangements have stricter limitations for shipments containing batteries.
Under the manufacturer's current DDP shipping arrangement for Australia, batteries must be removed from the shipment.
This means Australian customers may need to purchase an appropriate replacement battery locally.
Because battery requirements can vary by mower model and shipping method, we will confirm the exact battery situation with Australian customers before shipment.
We will not dispatch an Australian order without informing the customer if a battery must be removed.
Is shipping insurance automatically included?
Not necessarily.
Some freight forwarders include cargo insurance and incorporate the insurance cost into their freight quotation, while other shipping arrangements may not automatically include insurance.
Where insurance is required or available, this should be confirmed as part of the freight arrangement.
Can I request shipping insurance?
Yes.
Please contact us before shipment if you would like us to confirm whether additional cargo-insurance coverage is available for your order.
Can I change the delivery address after ordering?
Contact us immediately.
Changes are much easier before the freight booking has been completed.
Once the shipment has already been booked, changing the delivery address or consignee information can create additional freight charges.
What happens if nobody is available to receive the mower?
Freight-carrier arrangements vary.
Storage, hold or redelivery services may be available depending on the carrier, but additional charges may apply.
Customers should therefore monitor their email and telephone communications while the mower is approaching final delivery.
What should I do when the crate arrives?
Please inspect the wooden crate carefully before and during receipt.
Look for:
- Broken timber
- Crushed sections
- Holes
- Significant impact marks
- Water damage
- Missing sections
- Evidence that the crate has been opened
Take clear photographs of the crate before opening it.
Â
Should I record the unboxing?
Yes, we strongly recommend recording a continuous video while opening the crate.
This can provide valuable evidence if:
- The crate was damaged
- An accessory is missing
- Part of the machine was damaged during transportation
- A shipping claim needs to be investigated
Keep the crate and packaging until you have fully inspected the mower.
Â
What if the crate is damaged?
Take photographs before opening it and contact us as soon as possible.
If possible, make a note of visible damage on the delivery documentation before accepting the shipment.
Then carefully record the unboxing process.
What information should I send if something is damaged?
Please send:
- Order number
- Photographs of the unopened crate
- Photographs of the shipping label
- Unboxing video
- Photographs of the damaged component
- A clear description of the problem
- Delivery document if available
This information helps us investigate the issue with the manufacturer and freight company.
Â
Can you deliver to farms and rural properties?
In many cases, yes.
However, rural and remote addresses must be checked before shipment.
The delivery vehicle needs safe access to the agreed receiving location.
What information should I provide for a rural delivery?
Please tell us if your property has:
- Narrow access roads
- Steep access
- Unsealed roads
- Low-clearance entrances
- Restricted gates
- Limited turning space
- Weight restrictions
- No suitable unloading area
Providing this information before shipment helps us avoid delivery problems.
Can I start the mower immediately after removing it from the crate?
Do not start the machine until you have reviewed the instructions for your particular model.
Before first use, check items such as:
- Engine-oil requirements
- Fuel requirements
- Battery installation
- Battery charging
- Remote-control pairing
- Transport brackets or restraints
- Blade and cutting-area condition
- Emergency-stop operation
Follow the supplied operating manual and safety instructions.
Can I operate the mower indoors?
No.
A mower using a combustion engine must never be operated inside a house, garage, warehouse or other enclosed space where exhaust gases can accumulate.
Always operate the machine in an appropriate outdoor environment.
If you are unsure which model to purchase, contact us.
For the best recommendation, tell us:
- Country and postcode
- Property size
- Terrain
- Approximate slope
- Type of grass or vegetation
- Typical grass height
- Preferred cutting width
- Residential or commercial use
Our team can help you compare available models.
